1. Our Philosophy & Global Community

OmegleLite exists to spark genuine human connection. Every time you click "Start", you are paired with a real person on the other side. That person deserves the same respect, courtesy, and dignity you would expect for yourself.

Global Community Note: OmegleLite is used by individuals from more than 190 countries, spanning diverse cultures, languages, traditions, and backgrounds. Because our community is truly global, these Community Guidelines apply uniformly and equally to all users worldwide, regardless of local cultural norms or personal customs.

2. The Golden Rule

"Treat every stranger as you would want to be treated."
That single principle covers almost everything. If an action would make you feel uncomfortable, harassed, threatened, or violated if done to you, don't do it on OmegleLite.

3. ✅ What We Encourage

Be genuinely curious

The person you are matched with comes from a different life, culture, background, and perspective. Ask questions, listen, and be open to learning.

Be respectful of differences

You will meet people who look different, think differently, speak differently, and live differently. Respect those differences rather than attacking them.

Skip freely, skip kindly

If you are not interested in a conversation, that is completely fine. Just click Skip. You never owe anyone a conversation, but there is no need to insult someone before you skip.

Be authentic while staying safe

Enjoy the freedom of anonymous chat, but never share sensitive private information like your address, full name, or financial details.

Report what you see

If you witness behavior that violates these guidelines, report it. Reporting is how we protect the community for everyone.

4. ❌ Zero Tolerance Rules

The following behaviors result in an immediate permanent ban with no warnings and referral to authorities:

  • Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (CSAE / CSAM): Any sexual content involving, directed at, or referencing minors is the most serious violation possible. We report all such incidents to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and law enforcement immediately.
  • Non-Consensual Recording & Capturing: Recording another user's video, audio, or text without their explicit consent is strictly prohibited. This includes screen recordings, screenshots, and sharing captured footage on social media. (Note: OmegleLite's moderation system captures snapshots solely when a report is filed for safety review.)
  • Credible Threats of Violence: Threatening to kill, physically harm, or hurt another person, displaying weapons menacingly, or encouraging suicide/self-harm.

5. ⚠️ Serious Violations

Nudity and Sexual Behavior

Exposing genitalia, buttocks, or female breasts, performing sexual acts, or soliciting sexual activity on camera is strictly prohibited. OmegleLite is a casual conversational platform, not an adult webcam site.

Harassment and Bullying

Sending threatening, abusive, or persistently unwanted messages, stalking, insults, or behavior designed to intimidate or humiliate another person.

Hate Speech and Discrimination

Promoting hatred, violence, or dehumanization against individuals based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or age, or displaying hate symbols.

Doxxing & Sharing Private Information

Sharing or demanding another person's private information (real name, phone number, address, social media accounts) without consent.

Commercial Spam, Advertising & Bots

Promoting websites, paid subscription fan pages, commercial services, begging for money/crypto, or deploying automated bot scripts.

Impersonation and Fraud

Pretending to be someone else, impersonating OmegleLite staff, using fake video loops to deceive users, or sending phishing links.

6. 👤 Age Policy — Adults (18+) Only

OmegleLite is strictly for users who are 18 years of age or older.

  • If you are under 18: You must leave the platform immediately.
  • If you encounter a suspected minor: Skip immediately and use the Report button.
  • For Parents and Guardians: Please use parental control software and monitor your child's internet usage.

7. 🚨 How to Report a Violation

  • Step 1 — Click Skip immediately to sever the connection
  • Step 2 — Click the red Report icon on your screen
  • Step 3 — A single-frame canvas snapshot is automatically attached for moderation verification
  • Step 4 — Select the violation category and submit

Every report is reviewed by our Trust & Safety team. You will never be penalized for making a genuine, good-faith report.

8. ⚖️ Enforcement and Appeals

Violations result in progressive enforcement: session termination, temporary IP bans (24 hours to 30 days), or permanent blacklisting. If you believe you were banned in error, submit an appeal with your public IP address to omeglelite1@gmail.com.
