Free Random Video Chat

OmegleLite video chat is a free random video chat that connects you 1-on-1 with a stranger anywhere in the world. There is no signup, no app download, and no personal details required — you press start and get matched with the next available person. Video and audio travel directly between the two browsers over peer-to-peer WebRTC, which keeps calls low latency and keeps your IP address out of a middleman server. Every match is anonymous, and you can skip to a new partner at any time.

How video chat on OmegleLite works

  1. Open omeglelite.com/videochat in any modern browser on desktop or mobile.
  2. Allow camera and microphone access when your browser prompts you.
  3. Confirm you are 18 or older, then press start to join the matching queue.
  4. Talk for as long as you like, or press skip to be matched with someone new.
  5. Report anyone who breaks the rules — three reports within 24 hours triggers an automatic ban.

Video Chat questions, answered

Do I need to show my face?

No. Enabling your camera is optional, and you can leave it off or cover it at any point. If you would rather never turn a camera on, use voice chat for audio only or text chat for messages only.

Is video chat with strangers safe?

OmegleLite is restricted to users 18 and older, carries a real-time report button on every call, and automatically bans an account for 24 hours after three reports in a rolling day. Calls are peer-to-peer and are never recorded or stored. As with any platform involving strangers, use your judgment and skip anyone who makes you uncomfortable.

Do I need to download an app?

No. Video chat runs entirely in your browser using WebRTC. There is nothing to install on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, or iOS — open the page and press start.

Is OmegleLite video chat free?

Yes. Random video chat on OmegleLite is completely free, with no subscription, no premium tier, and no limit on how many people you can talk to.
